Full Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for labeling and verifying freight for accuracy
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Labels all boxes before pallets and boxes are shipped out to customers or fulfillment centers
- Wrap completed pallets with pallet wrap so orders can be moved to the next stage
- Count and scan all boxes, ensuring all have matching and correctly placed labels
- Uses proper label placement for each consignee, contacts supervisor for label placement information
Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience
Assists other labelers when assignment is complete
- Reports any unusual or unsafe behavior to supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of labeling procedures
- RFN scanner experience
- Good oral communication skills
- Strong level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume fast paced environment
- Good Visual acuity
- Strong Math Skills
Equipment Used: Pallet jacks and other warehouse tools
Interface: Frequent interaction with warehouse employees
Education and/or Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience
