Our K–12 education division is expanding, bringing AI education to students, parents, and schools through workshops, curriculum, and advisory services.
Role Overview
We are seeking K–12 AI Advisors to represent The JL Garrett Group in local communities. This is a 1099 contractor role responsible for introducing our programs to families and schools while facilitating engaging, hands-on AI workshops.
This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable presenting, enjoy working with students and parents, and can build trust quickly within their community.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Engagement and Growth
- Build relationships with parents, schools, educators, and community organizations
- Identify and secure opportunities to host AI workshops and learning sessions
- Represent the JL Garrett Group at local events, schools, and community forums
- Generate interest and enroll students into workshops and programs
- Workshop Facilitation
- Deliver structured, hands-on AI workshops for students and parents
- Create an engaging and approachable environment that simplifies AI concepts
- Follow provided curriculum while bringing energy and personality to each session
- Ensure a high-quality experience that drives referrals and repeat participation
- Program Support
- Provide feedback on curriculum, messaging, and market demand
- Act as the voice of the customer to help improve offerings
- Maintain professionalism and consistency with brand standards
Qualifications
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to simplify complex topics for students and parents
Comfort with community outreach and relationship building
Experience in education, tutoring, coaching, or community leadership is preferred but not required
Interest in AI and its impact on students and learning
What Success Looks Like
Consistently generating and hosting local workshops and sessions
High engagement and positive feedback from students and parents
Building a strong local network that drives repeat participation and referrals
Representing the brand with professionalism and credibility
Compensation Structure
This is a 1099 contractor role
Compensation is based on workshops delivered and student enrollment
Earning potential is uncapped based on performance
