This post supports the Health Visitor to complete developmental surveillance reviews for universal children and also will deliver expert education, support and advice around the UNICEF breast feeding targets to ante-natal and post-natal women with their infant feeding choices, this will be a considerable part of this job.
The team is able to work in a hybrid manner, working from home for completion of records, out and about for the clinical work, this being at the discretion of the Manager.
There will be considerable travel between venues, business expenses are paid.

You will be part of the Children and Young People Healthy family Team helping the Health Visitor and others to deliver high quality healthcare in the community.
Working in various settings, including client’s homes and also clinics, trained to an expert level in both early child development and breast feeding support.
Supporting colleagues in different duties when required.
