Description We are looking for a commercial real estate attorney with at least two years of experience to support a busy legal practice in Phoenix, Arizona. This role offers the opportunity to advise on a range of property-related matters, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, and investment transactions. The ideal candidate brings strong legal judgment, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage due diligence and document review with confidence in a detail-focused services environment.
Responsibilities:
Handle commercial real estate matters from initial review through closing, providing practical legal guidance at each stage of the transaction.
Draft, examine, and negotiate purchase agreements, lease documents, financing materials, and other transaction-related contracts.
Lead due diligence efforts by reviewing title, survey, zoning, organizational, and property records to identify legal and business risks.
Advise clients on commercial property acquisitions, dispositions, development matters, and investment-related transactions.
Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, brokers, and other stakeholders to keep transactions moving efficiently.
Assess legal issues affecting commercial real estate investments and recommend solutions that support client objectives.
Maintain accurate documentation, track key deadlines, and ensure closing requirements are satisfied in a timely manner. Requirements
Active license to practice law in good standing in Arizona or ability to waive in on motion.
At least 2 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions.
Demonstrated background in commercial real estate law, including purchases, sales, leasing, or financing matters.
Experience supporting commercial real estate investment transactions and related legal analysis.
Strong due diligence skills with the ability to review and interpret complex property and transactional documents.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities.
Able to work effectively in an in-office environment with some remote flexibility.
