About The Role

The Clinical Supervisor of Healthcare Services is a vital leadership position responsible for overseeing a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. This role involves managing functions such as care management, utilization management, behavioral health, care transitions, and long-term services and supports (LTSS). The supervisor ensures that members receive coordinated, high-quality care that aligns with regulatory standards and organizational goals. They play a critical role in implementing and monitoring programs, training staff, and optimizing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for improving healthcare delivery. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex cases and teams effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience, including at least 2 years in managed care in areas such as utilization management, care management, behavioral health, or LTSS.
• Licensed clinical professional such as RN, LVN, LPN, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LMSW.
• Active and unrestricted license in the state of practice, if licensing is mandated by state regulations or contractual requirements.
• Strong conflict resolution and change management skills.
• Operational and process improvement experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and manage competing responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee health management, care management, utilization management, behavioral health, and other program activities in compliance with regulatory, contractual, and accreditation standards.
• Act as a hands-on supervisor, assessing systems, day-to-day operations, and service efficiency to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate staff orientation and training to maximize efficiency, program implementation, and service quality.
• Support team members in managing high-risk and complex members, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support.
• Participate in staff performance evaluations, ongoing monitoring, and adherence to protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare leadership to address operational issues, staffing needs, and resource allocation.
• Assist in the reporting of departmental statistics, client reports, and other performance metrics.
• Travel locally as required to meet contractual and operational needs.
