About The Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer II to join our dynamic Technology Department. Reporting directly to the Director of Software Engineering, this role is pivotal in managing the full software development lifecycle—from initial conception through deployment and maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in full-stack development, with experience in both front-end and back-end coding, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, design, and system architects to develop scalable, robust integrations and web applications that meet internal and external client needs. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and HubSpot CRM APIs is advantageous. The role emphasizes creativity, client focus, and solutions-driven thinking, with an emphasis on delivering high-performance, secure, and user-friendly software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in full-stack software development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and DOM manipulation
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React.js and Redux
• Familiarity with development tools including Typescript, WebGrease, and Swagger
• Knowledge of server-side languages such as C#, Java/Groovy, and Python
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, JWT, and OAuth2.0
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server), NoSQL (MongoDB), and graph databases
• Understanding of cloud stacks including Node.js, .NET Core, Azure, and Salesforce
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with automation tools like Postman, Selenium, BrowserStack, and Enzyme is a plus
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and architectural patterns such as Event-driven, Microservices, and Domain-Driven Design
• Knowledge of cloud messaging, push notifications, websockets, and API-led connectivity
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Salesforce, and Heroku
• Development experience for native mobile applications is desirable

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams, including offshore contractors, and product managers to conceptualize and develop software solutions
• Translate designer mock-ups and wireframes into functional, visually appealing front-end code
• Design and implement user interactions on web pages to enhance user experience
• Develop and maintain functional databases, applications, and server-side components to support web platforms
• Implement mobile-responsive designs to ensure seamless user experience across devices
• Create and maintain RESTful API services following best practices and industry standards
• Stay current with emerging web development trends, tools, and programming languages
• Consider non-functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, usability, and maintainability when designing solutions
• Conduct software testing to ensure responsiveness, efficiency, and reliability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software applications
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions
• Work with the Integration Solution Architect to design API layers and interfaces for system integrations
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the integration platform as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver sustainable, secure, and high-performance solutions
