Join our dynamic team as the Head Lifeguard, a vital leadership role dedicated to ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and exceptional guest experience at our club’s aquatic facilities. As the top authority on pool safety and guest service, you will oversee lifeguard operations, coordinate with management. Your energetic presence will inspire confidence among guests and staff alike, creating a vibrant atmosphere where safety and fun go hand in hand.

Major summer holidays are mandatory including Memorial Day, July 4, & Labor Day. One weekend day is also required.

Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of lifeguards, ensuring all safety protocols are rigorously followed during daily operations and special events
• Manage emergency response procedures, including rescue operations and first aid administration, with swift and decisive action
• Oversee guest services at the pool area, addressing guest inquiries, resolving concerns, and enhancing overall satisfaction through excellent customer service
• Conduct regular safety inspections of pool facilities, equipment, and surrounding areas to maintain compliance with health and safety standards
• Train new lifeguards on safety procedures, customer service excellence, and resort policies to ensure a high standard of performance across the team

Experience

• Proven leadership experience in a management role within hospitality, resort operations, health club, or aquatic safety environments
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet authoritative demeanor that fosters positive guest interactions
• Knowledge of rescue techniques, first aid certification (including CPR), and emergency response protocols is essential
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous experience working in a resort or large-scale recreational facility is highly desirable

Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
