Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for a Full-Stack Next.js Engineer. The engineer will collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain web applications for supporting the organization’s mission. Daily tasks include building and optimizing both front-end user interfaces and back-end functionalities, implementing responsive designs with CSS, and ensuring a seamless Full-Stack Development process. The role also involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Front-End Development, including proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like React and CSS
• Experience in Back-End Web Development with knowledge of building robust server-side applications
• Proficiency in Full-Stack Development and familiarity with frameworks like Next.js
• Ability to ensure scalability and reliability in Software Development
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with web application deployment and optimization tools
• Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities of working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred
