About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying software solutions across all layers of the development lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust applications, maintain existing systems, and ensure seamless integration with databases, APIs, servers, and networks. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Mentoring less experienced team members and ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies will also be key aspects of your responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems
• Seven (7) years of work experience in information technology or engineering
• Proven proficiency in multiple programming languages
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with software documentation and adherence to development processes
• Knowledge of databases, APIs, servers, and network configurations
• Ability to mentor junior team members and handle multiple projects effectively

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software code using multiple programming languages aligned with project requirements
• Test newly developed software to ensure functionality, performance, and security standards
• Document code and processes according to company policies and industry best practices
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, vendors, user focus groups, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates
• Evaluate code for industry compliance, hardware compatibility, and software integration
• Mentor and support less senior developers to foster team growth and knowledge sharing
• Ensure all software development activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project objectives and organizational goals
