Full-Stack AI Engineer Internship -Frontend Full Time

About the Role

Marketeq is looking for a Frontend-Focused Full-Stack AI Engineer Intern to help build and improve real-world AI applications used by clients and internal teams.

This internship is ideal for candidates who enjoy turning designs into polished user experiences, connecting frontend applications to APIs, and using modern AI coding tools to accelerate development.

You’ll work with technologies and workflows used by modern engineering teams, including AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and MCP-powered workflows.

While this is a full-stack role, the primary focus is frontend engineering. You’ll spend most of your time building responsive interfaces, implementing features from Figma designs, integrating APIs, and improving product experiences.

What You’ll Work On

• Build responsive frontend features using modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks
• Convert Figma designs into production-ready user interfaces
• Connect frontend applications to backend APIs and authentication systems
• Implement loading states, error handling, validation, and edge-case experiences
• Debug and improve frontend and full-stack functionality
• Use AI development tools to accelerate implementation, debugging, and documentation
• Collaborate with engineering and QA teams through development, testing, and release cycles
• Contribute to real product features used in production environments

Requirements

• Current Master’s student or Master’s graduate in a technical field
• Current U.S. resident
• 2+ years of frontend development experience
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, Svelte, or similar frameworks
• Experience translating Figma designs into responsive interfaces
• Experience working with APIs and frontend integrations
• Familiarity with Git and pull request workflows
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot

Strongly Preferred

• Storybook or component library experience
• Full-stack development experience
• Experience with authentication flows and protected applications
• Strong debugging skills
• Ability to review and improve AI-generated code rather than relying on it blindly
• Portfolio, GitHub, or project examples available for review
