Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Fractional HR Generalist (1099) to partner with one or more of our incredible clients!

This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive HR services across various industries, helping companies optimize their human capital management strategies. As a key contributor, you will provide hands-on support in areas such as talent acquisition/recruiting, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement HR policies aligned with employment & labor law standards and organizational objectives.
• Manage talent acquisition processes including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees using platforms like Paycom, Paylocity, Rippling, BambooHR, ADP, etc..
• Provide expert guidance on employee orientation, performance management, and employee evaluation procedures to promote workforce development.
• Oversee benefits administration and payroll processes utilizing HRIS tools to ensure accurate data entry and compliance.
• Support change management initiatives by supporting training & development sessions, and facilitating employee engagement efforts.
• Handle employee relations issues with professionalism, employing conflict management skills to resolve disputes effectively while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA standards, Workers’ Compensation regulations, and other relevant employment laws through diligent data collection and documentation.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in HR at a fast-growing small to mid-sized business (1-200 employees). Experience supporting government contracting firms, preferred.
• At least 2 years working as a Generalist or HR Business Partner for a multi-state employer.
• Experience as an “HR Team of 1” is very valuable.
• Hands-on experience managing recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits and other HR functions within an HRIS system (i.e. Paycom, Paylocity, ADP, Rippling, UKG, BambooHR, etc.)
• Working knowledge of employment & labor law, affirmative action planning, and OSHA regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage employee relations and conduct interviews or training sessions.
• Proven reputation among leadership and peers as someone who is resourceful, engaging, proactive, curious, diligent, and KIND!
• Administrative experience including data entry, contract management, and social media management related to employer branding is a plus.
