Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack and count product within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts in drive-in racking systems and be comfortable working in a refrigerated warehouse environment between 34-38 degrees F.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, stack, and organize, product within the warehouse.
- Operate effciently within drive-in systems
- Assist with receiving, order picking and shipping activities
- perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and product locations
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including occasional heavy lifting
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
- Experience operating in drive-in racking systems preferred
- ability to lift and move heavy materials when required
- strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- Experience in refrigerated or warehouse distribution environments
- Knowledge on OSHA forklife safety standards
Schedule
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime may be required at times
- Employees will be on call to work every other weekend. You will be notified by Friday at 9:00AM if you are scheuled to work your on-call weekend.
Pay – $22.50 per hour (based on experience)
