We have a current opening for a Field Engineer for a project at Austin Airport. The position will be located at our field office at the project site.

Success in this position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:

Assist with purchasing, project document control, Material Take Offs, quotes

Assistance with delivery receiving, scheduling, and inventory management, maintain organization with use of Forklift

Back up for Dispatching of skilled labor from local union halls and ensuring requests comply with project specifications; laborers, operators, etc.

Responsible for new hire processing; badging, pre-employment drug screen scheduling, new hire orientation and training, providing PPE, documentation, etc.

Maintain record/documentation as required for dispatching, hiring, etc.

Daily timecards, badging set up and scheduling

Regular and timely communication with GC; daily dispatch, daily reports, etc.

Maintain PPE and other supplies as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

2+ years’ experience in administrative support role, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience in admin/field support role within construction a plus

• Strong organization, attention to detail, good judgement, and communication skills

  Strong ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and assignments simultaneously

  Ability to work independently and as a team

  Ability to maintain confidentiality and responsibly handle sensitive materials/information

  Special Considerations:

  Ability to communicate in English and Spanish a plus

  Previous knowledge/experience of driving forklift

  Must be eligible to be badged at airport

  Must be able to work night shifts

  Salary Range:

  $20.0/hour – $29.00/hour

  This is non-exempt position
