Farm Operations Coordinator Full Time

Jon-De Farm is a multi-generational family dairy operation rooted in Baldwin, Wisconsin since 1912. Today, three generations remain actively involved in the business, carrying forward the same values that have guided the farm for over a century: Comfortable Cows, Quality Milk, and Sustainable Practices.

We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, hands-on individual to join our operations team in a role that blends coordination, communication, organization, and equipment oversight. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys agriculture, thrives on keeping things running smoothly, and takes pride in creating order in busy environments.

This position reports directly to the Farm’s Operations Manager and may be structured as either part-time or full-time, depending on the individual and specific capabilities.

What You Will Do

Coordinate Projects & Crew Readiness

• Ensure jobs are properly prepared before work begins
• Coordinate materials, tools, supplies, and vendor orders
• Help organize and prioritize maintenance and operations projects
• Support daily and weekly crew planning

Organize & Maintain the Shop

• Manage inventory of parts, tools, fluids, and supplies
• Keep the maintenance shop clean, orderly, and functional
• Maintain whiteboards, schedules, and task lists
• Improve systems and organization wherever possible

Equipment Maintenance Coordination

• Track maintenance schedules for farm equipment and vehicles
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Assist with hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting as needed

Communication & Team Support

• Help facilitate communication between operations leadership and crew members
• Support scheduling and workflow coordination
• Serve as a reliable point person who helps keep everyone aligned and informed

What We Are Looking For

• Agricultural background or familiarity with farm operations strongly preferred
• Experience with equipment maintenance, heavy vehicles, or diesel equipment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through independently
• Comfortable working in both shop and office environments
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed
• Basic computer and recordkeeping skills
• Mechanical aptitude highly valued
• English language mandatory and Spanish a plus

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
