Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Construction Estimator in Jacksonville, FL. This role focuses on drywall and metal framing estimating for a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects, including education, healthcare, hospitality, office fit-outs, and large multi-story developments exceeding 20 floors. The estimator will be responsible for performing detailed takeoffs, building accurate estimates in BuzzBid, and managing projects through all phases, from schematic design to GMP pricing. Projects typically range from $500K to $5.5M, with larger estimates undergoing executive-level review. The position supports a high-growth market across Jacksonville and surrounding regions including Daytona, Orlando, Pensacola, Macon, Savannah, and North Charleston. This individual will own bids end-to-end, contribute to value engineering efforts, and collaborate on larger or more complex pursuits when needed. Success in this role requires the ability to maintain high production volume while ensuring accuracy and completeness in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Skills and Requirements
8+ years of drywall & metal framing estimating experience
Ability to produce accurate, full-scope commercial estimates independently
Ground-up commercial project experience
High-volume estimating capability
Proficient in BuzzBid (preferred) or OST/QuickBid + Excel
Able to own bids end-to-end with minimal oversight – Field background (drywall/framing ? estimating)
GMP, negotiated, design-assist, phased estimating
Large/multi-story or $2M-$5M+ project exposure
Value engineering experience
Experience in education, healthcare, hospitality, office
