Job Description
A leading EPC firm in Kansas City is looking to grow their electrical design team. This individual will play a critical role in developing high-quality electrical engineering and construction documents for complex, mission-critical projects such as airports, federal buildings, and secure facilities. Responsibilities will include:
Develop and revise electrical construction documents using Revit
Support electrical engineers on aviation and federal facility projects
Prepare drawing packages including:
Floor plans, panel schedules, one-line diagrams
Equipment layouts, grounding and lighting systems
Conduit and feeder routing
Low voltage and power systems
Incorporate redlines and quality-control comments efficiently
Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, structural, civil) to ensure drawing consistency
Maintain drawing organization and adherence to Burns & McDonnell CAD standards
Assist with document control and milestone submittals

Skills and Requirements
Design/drafting degree
2+ years of design experience working with Revit – Previous electrical design/drafting experience
Previous facilities design experience in federal sector
