About The Role

The Data Delivery Analyst is a vital role within our organization, responsible for translating high-level data strategies into actionable features and epics that guide technical teams. Reporting directly to the Lead Data Strategist, this full-time, remote position plays a key role in bridging the gap between strategic planning and tactical execution. The analyst will serve as the primary functional owner for data integration and data quality initiatives, ensuring that teams understand the business value, requirements, and context of the data they handle. This role involves close collaboration with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Quality specialists to manage and prioritize the feature backlog, define core business rules, and ensure that data assets meet enterprise standards. The Data Delivery Analyst also participates actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog refinement, ensuring that the development efforts align with strategic objectives and business needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence data-driven decision-making in the healthcare sector, contributing to the development of reliable, high-quality healthcare data systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business reporting, or business intelligence
• Proven success in building dashboards for executive or operational use
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and managing backlogs for software or data engineering teams
• Strong understanding of data integration pipelines, data modeling concepts, and data quality principles
• Excellent written communication skills for documenting business requirements and feature definitions
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
• Experience collaborating with Business Analysts or writing requirements for technical user stories
• Exposure to healthcare data, particularly provider data, data governance, or data quality initiatives, is a plus
• Fundamental data literacy and analytical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise data strategies into well-defined, actionable data features and epics that guide technical teams
• Serve as the primary functional lead for Data Integration and Data Quality teams, ensuring understanding of business value and requirements
• Define and document core business rules, data mapping requirements, and acceptance criteria for data features
• Partner with Business Analysts to facilitate clear handoffs, review user stories, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
• Manage and prioritize the feature backlog for data-related initiatives, adjusting priorities based on business needs and technical challenges
• Document comprehensive data requirements, including integration logic, profiling, monitoring rules, and remediation procedures
• Act as the day-to-day liaison between leadership and execution teams, providing functional guidance and resolving questions to unblock progress
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog refinement to ensure solutions meet business requirements
• Maintain detailed documentation of data assets, processes, and standards to support ongoing data quality and integration efforts
