Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Data Analyst / Data Scientist at Volt Skills Formations en Electricité. The role involves collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple internal and external sources to support business and training decisions. The selected candidate will build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key performance indicators related to training programs and operational efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include applying statistical methods and data modeling techniques to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and generate actionable insights. The role also requires clear communication of findings to non-technical stakeholders, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement of data processes and documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and proven experience in data analytics to interpret complex datasets and generate clear insights.
- Proficiency in statistics and data modeling for forecasting, segmentation, and performance measurement.
- Effective communication skills to explain technical results in accessible, concise language to diverse audiences.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and spreadsheet software.
- Familiarity with programming or query languages such as Python, R, or SQL is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in or exposure to the electrical, technical training, or vocational education sectors is a plus.
