What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Maintain knowledge of the current patient database and billing system
• Obtain and verify patient demographic and health insurance information
• Schedule patient setups as directed by physicians or their office staff
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and co-workers
• Manage and operate computer equipment safely and correctly

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to interact knowledgeably with patients and physicians
• Familiarity with Medicare and insurance regulations and requirements
• Capability to read and understand medical documentation effectively
