Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Custom Cabinetry Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishes to custom cabinets, ensuring a high-quality, smooth, and durable surface that meets our exacting standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with precision finishing techniques, utilize a variety of tools and equipment, and contribute to the creation of beautiful, functional cabinetry for our clients. Duties

• Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal finish adhesion.
• Apply finishes using airless paint spraying equipment, brushes, rollers, or other methods as appropriate for each project.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently during the finishing process.
• Perform touch-ups and corrections to achieve a flawless surface appearance.
• Use precision measuring instruments and basic math skills to verify dimensions and ensure consistent application of finishes.
• Handle materials carefully with proper materials handling techniques, including the use of forklifts or cranes when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols related to industrial painting, auto body repair techniques, welding, and machining processes.

Experience

• Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial painting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, machining, fabrication, or auto body repair will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with construction painting techniques and auto painting processes is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, airless paint sprayers, and precision measuring instruments is essential.
• Warehouse experience involving materials handling equipment such as forklifts or cranes is beneficial.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and quality in finishing operations.
