Clothing Collection Driver (Non-CDL) – Box Truck Exp Req – Night Shift -Differential+Commission! – $24-34/hr

Helpsy’s Mission: We are the largest textile collection company in the Northeast US. Unlike most used clothing businesses we have an environmental mission: to keep clothes out of the trash. In just the last year we collected over 30 million pounds of clothes. The impact of the clothes we collected is the following:

• 320 million pounds of CO₂ emissions
• 20 billion gallons of water
• The electricity usage of 10,000 American homes

To fight this battle, we work with partners large and small to place clothing collection containers, schedule collection drives, engage with cities and towns, manage unwanted inventories, and spread the word that CLOTHES AREN’T TRASH.

Night Shift Collection Driver/Box Truck Driver Role and Responsibilities:

• Ability & Availability to work and drive during the evening and overnights
• Availability to work both Sat and/or Sun evenings
• Able to safely operate a non-CDL box trucks up to 26ft
• Load and unload trucks in outdoor environments year-round
• Able to work independently without direct supervision

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• You must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and DOT Medical Card
• At least two years of experience of commercial driving
• Able to use a mobile phone to log all activities
• Must have your own Smart Phone
• You must be able to lift and carry large bulky items up to 50 lbs
• You must be able to push and pull a rolling cart up to 450 lbs
• You must be able to work in inclement weather such as heavy rain or snow
