Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced laborers with a strong background in plumbing and underground utility work to join our team. This position focuses on the installation of water service lines, including copper piping, valves, and water meter systems. While a plumbing license is not required, candidates must possess hands-on experience and a solid understanding of industry practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install new copper water service lines, valves, and water meter sets
- Perform connections using ProPress fittings and associated tooling
- Install and maintain compression fittings
- Assist with tapping into existing water mains
- Follow all safety protocols and project specifications
- Work effectively in a team environment to complete projects on time
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing, underground utilities, or water service installation
- Working knowledge of ProPress systems and tools
- Experience with compression fittings and water main tapping procedures
- Ability to read and follow basic construction plans and specifications
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
Preferred (Not Required):
- Previous experience in municipal or commercial water service projects
- Valid driver’s license
