About the Role
Sisters in Christ: Women of Purpose, Daughters of Promise is seeking a Chief Prayer & Wellness Officer (CPWO) to serve as the executive steward of our prayer ministry and internal wellness standards.

This C‑suite role is responsible for governing all prayer environments, protecting spiritual and emotional safety, and stewarding wellness for internal leaders and teams. The CPWO ensures that prayer remains our public ministry, wellness remains our internal stewardship, and clear boundaries are honored to protect integrity and sustainability.

This is a governing and oversight role, not a counseling, coaching, or clinical position.

Key Responsibilities
Prayer Ministry Governance (External – Prayer Only)
Oversee all approved prayer offerings, including intercessory prayer, prayer calls, and prayer circles
Ensure prayer environments remain prayer‑only, without counseling or coaching
Establish and enforce biblically grounded, safe prayer standards
Approve, restrict, or discontinue prayer activities when boundaries are crossed
Internal Wellness Stewardship (Mind, Body & Soul)
Steward emotional, spiritual, and physical sustainability for internal leaders and team members
Lead burnout‑prevention practices, Sabbath rhythms, and capacity‑based scheduling
Guard against exhaustion culture and spiritual overextension
Maintain referral pathways to licensed external professionals when appropriate
Governance, Safety & Compliance
Own and enforce the organization’s Prayer & Wellness Framework
Ensure compliance across departments and leadership levels
Activate escalation protocols related to harm, abuse, or severe distress
Advise the CEO on spiritual health, risk management, and long‑term sustainability
Prayer Leader Accountability
Establish training and covenant requirements for all prayer leaders
Enforce confidentiality and ethical prayer practices
Remove or retrain leaders who operate outside approved prayer scope
Qualifications
Spiritual & Character Qualifications
Demonstrated spiritual maturity and disciplined prayer life
Strong discernment, emotional restraint, and integrity
Deep respect for boundaries, confidentiality, and authority
Experience & Leadership
Senior‑level ministry or faith‑based leadership experience
Experience overseeing prayer teams or spiritual care structures
Trauma‑aware and safety‑minded (non‑clinical)
Proven ability to enforce standards and steward organizational integrity
