Pay: $1,500.00 – $1,800.00 per week

Location: Springfield, IL Terminal

Schedule: 5-Day Dispatch (Sunday Night – Friday Night)

About the Role:

We are a dedicated FedEx Ground Linehaul contractor looking for reliable, professional CDL-A drivers. If you are tired of bumping docks, dealing with lumpers, and sitting unpaid at shippers, this is the job for you. Our runs are 100% Drop & Hook, Terminal-to-Terminal.

We run an older, strictly maintained fleet (2016-2018 Freightliners & Internationals). We don’t have the shiny new 2026 plastics, but what we do have is respect for our drivers, stable routes, and a proactive maintenance program to keep you rolling and earning.

• Breakdown Pay: If the truck goes down, your paycheck doesn’t. We pay for mechanical delays (starting after the 1st hour, capped at $150/day).

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL with Doubles/Triples (T) Endorsement (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years (or 5 years in the last 10)
• Clean MVR and background check (Must pass FedEx Ground approval process)
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Ability to safely handle physical workload and use the converter dolly (up to 70lbs)

Job Details:

• Linehaul – Terminal to Terminal (Local Spot runs and Shuttle runs when needed)
• Shift: Night Dispatch, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Estimated 60 hours/week)
• Electronic log and Video Camera compliance required
• Potential to earn more with extra miles/shifts
