Full Job Description
FirstLight Home Care is seeking CAREgivers to add to our growing team! Our employees are our greatest asset and we work with them to find a schedule that works best for them. We service The Greater Charleston Area and Surrounding Areas
Offering $250 sign on bonus, flexible scheduling, benefits, double hourly pay for holidays, and no overtime cap. Plus an employee referral bonus!
Responsibilities may include:
- Helping clients with daily functions, such as dressing or taking a bath
- Assisting with mobility and/or the use of daily devices such as walkers, wheelchairs, gait belt, or hoyer lift
- Identifying any changes in a client’s condition
- Preparing and serving meals
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Supporting client to maintain as much independence as possible
- Updating client records with visit notes
Requirements:
- Have own vehicle and valid drivers license
- 18 years or older
- Able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
- Pass felony, misdemeanor, and driving background check, and drug screen

Pay: $16.50 – $19.00 per hour
