Cabinet CAD Programmer and Installer Scheduler Full Time

Wilco is seeking an experienced and dedicated Installation Scheduler to coordinate the shop production and cabinet installation schedule. The Installation Scheduler position involves coordinating the flow of projects thru the shop and pre-install so Wilco is ready to install when job sites are ready, so we are “on time – every time”, making us the preferred cabinet subcontractor. The Installation Scheduler ensures all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader, you will coordinate between Wilco’s Management Team, General Contractors, project Subcontractors and the project owner to deliver excellent craftsmanship and meet project deadlines. Your expertise in construction management, ability to organize an ever-changing schedule, and lead a team of skilled Installers is an asset we are looking for.

Wilco is hiring a Cabinet CAD Programmer to program and process custom cabinet projects using CabinetVision and AlphaCam. This position includes working with the Designers and Design Drafting teams to understand the inticacies of each project and then layout and process each project for the shop departments to complete the process of creating custom cabinetry. Your ability to accurately layout and process custom cabinetry ensures that the project flows smoothly from the shop to install.

Duties

• Installation Scheduler:
• Lead and manage a team of skilled cabinet installers providing clear direction and mentorship
• Coordinate daily shop schedule and install scheduling, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
• Coordinate with job sites to ensure JIT and meet deadlines and expectations of job completion.
• Train and mentor new employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Ensure proper maintenance of all tools and equipment as needed by the Installation team
• Cabinet CAD Programmer:
• Coordinate with the Design and Design Drafting teams to understand the intricacies of each project.
• Layout and process all custom cabinet projects using CabinetVision and Alphacam
• Prepare all reports and issue to prospective departments
• Understand and research all construction methods and work with Management on continuous improvement methods
• Troubleshoot from design to installation to ensure smooth flow of projects thru production and install.
• Requirements:
• Cabinet CAD Programmer:
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, CabinetVision and Alphacam (or similar cabinet manufacturing software programs).
• Experience with CAD and custom cabinet software programs – specifically CabinetVision.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Extensive knowledge of cabinet making techniques, tools and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Cabinet Installation Scheduler:
• Familiarity with ERP programs and background in other scheduling software systems.
• Strong organizational and communicaton skills. and team management skills.
• Background in construction and project coordinating
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP and scheduling software programs.
• Lean manufacturing understanding and training.
• Extensive knowledge of cabinet making techniques, tools and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to evaluate employees and give suggestions for improvement.
