Business Project Manager (Go-to-Market, Specialty Products)

Contract
We are seeking an experienced Business Project Manager to lead a high-visibility, enterprise-level initiative focused on launching new, consumer-facing products. This role will own the end-to-end business execution, from strategy through go-to-market and delivery, ensuring alignment across multiple business functions and successful program outcomes. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong leadership, organization, and stakeholder management skills, with regular interaction at the senior leadership level.
What You’ll Do
Program & Project Leadership
- Own and manage the end-to-end business program plan, integrating multiple workstreams into a unified execution roadmap
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment across timelines, dependencies, and deliverables
- Drive execution across strategy, go-to-market planning, communications, training, and change management
- Identify and manage interdependencies to ensure seamless coordination across teams
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead and guide a matrixed team across departments including Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Enrollment, and Technology
- Partner closely with a technical project manager to align business and technology execution
- Define roles, responsibilities, and accountability across all workstreams
- Build strong relationships through clear, confident communication and collaboration
Go-to-Market & Change Management
- Own go-to-market strategy and execution, including stakeholder and user readiness
- Lead development and rollout of training strategies and materials
- Drive communication planning and execution across internal and external audiences
- Ensure alignment of sales, marketing, and operational readiness strategies
- Lead change management efforts to support adoption and minimize disruption
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Act as the central point of coordination across teams, stakeholders, and leadership
- Facilitate governance forums, decision-making sessions, and cross-functional discussions
- Provide regular updates and executive-level communications on program status, risks, and progress
- Represent senior leadership in meetings and strategic discussions as needed
Execution & Delivery Oversight
- Drive accountability and momentum across all workstreams
- Identify risks, surface issues early, and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure go-live readiness, including planning for launch support and post-launch stabilization
- Monitor overall program health and ensure successful delivery of business outcomes
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in business project or program management
- Proven experience leading large-scale, complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level interaction
- Experience bridging business and technology teams
- Familiarity with Agile concepts and tools such as Jira
- Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with go-to-market launches for customer-facing products
- Background in training, communications, or change management workstreams
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries
