Located in the historic Missoula Mercantile Pharmacy downtown, Basal offers delicious, high-quality, and healthy food and beverages for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We specialize in unique signature salads, stir-fry, coffee, smoothies, sipping broth and grab-and-go options via convenient counter service. General Shift Times

• We ask that all staff work a mix of these shifts times during their training period and then will be scheduled based on performance and availability moving forward.
• 7:30am – 3:30pm
• 10am – 6pm
• 1-9pm
• 4-9pm

Role and Responsibilities

• Warm hospitality and appreciation for food
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Interest in driving results
• Operates Square POS
• Knowledge of full menu and recipes
• Preparation of all salads, smoothies, stir-fry, and beverages
• Assist in some food preparation (cutting, cooking, storing food)
• Ensure facility and equipment are cleaned and maintained to company standards
• Opening and closing the restaurant, performing all closing, cleaning and organizing projects
• Mise en place
• Doing dishes
• The position is hands-on and also emphasizes creativity, problem solving, and planning.
