Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance in selecting the right auto parts and accessories to meet their vehicle needs.
• Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems to process sales accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage inventory control with precision.
• Maintain organized stock levels through effective stocking, inventory management, and inventory control practices to ensure product availability.
• Engage in automotive diagnostics and repair knowledge to advise customers on vehicle maintenance, automotive service options, and repair procedures.
• Negotiate sales terms with customers, offering solutions that align with their needs while maximizing dealership or store sales goals.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely order fulfillment and manage parts ordering through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or other inventory software.
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, or providing technical advice, ensuring clear communication at all times.
• Assist in marketing efforts by promoting special offers, new products, or services to enhance customer engagement and retention.
• Support maintenance tasks within the store or dealership environment to keep the workspace safe, organized, and welcoming.

Experience

• Proven experience in retail sales within an automotive parts store or dealership environment is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair processes enhances your ability to serve customers effectively.
• Demonstrated proficiency with inventory management systems such as CMMS or POS platforms is essential for accurate stock control and order processing.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities) are a significant advantage for serving diverse customer bases.
• Previous experience with dealership operations, retail math, Microsoft Excel, and marketing strategies will support your success in this role.
• Familiarity with automotive service procedures and dealership sales management practices helps you provide comprehensive customer support.
