The Associate Director of Admissions and Director of Financial Aid must build and maintain collaborative relationships with all members of the Nightingale community—students, parents, faculty, and staff—and be comfortable representing and communicating the strengths of Nightingale’s academic program and school culture. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to Nightingale’s mission of enrolling a diverse student body, a passion for girls’ education, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines with humor, flexibility, and grace under pressure.
Previous experience in admissions, financial aid, and/or admissions platforms and databases is preferred, though not required. This is a full-time, exempt, 12-month position beginning July 1, 2026, and reports to the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management.

As with all members of the Admissions Department, this position is also expected to perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management and/or the Head of School, as needed.

SALARY.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, this position’s annual salary range is $130,000-$160,000. When extending an offer, Nightingale considers factors such as (but not limited to) the position’s scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, and market and organizational considerations.
