Job Title: Assistant Operator
Location: Long Prairie, MN
Compensation: $18.50-$21.00 per hour – paid weekly
Schedule: Night Shift | 4:30pm-3:00am | Monday-Thursday
Job Type: Temp-to-hire

What You’ll Do as the Assistant Operator:
- Assist the Operator with running equipment, product movement, tracking and rotation
- Stock and supply assigned lines; ensure cleanliness of assigned area
- Assist with product movement in warehouse operations
- Receive, process and intake materials as needed for assigned area of operations
- Assure quality and safety standards are adhered to
- Perform sanitation tasks as assigned
- Assist other team members in completion of work. Record keeping, and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOP’s and safety documents
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
What You Need to Bring to the Assistant Operator Role:
- Must have at least 6 months of machine operator experience in the last year
- High school diploma, or GED preferred
- Must be a self-starter capable of working in a team-based environment
- Experience in a food grade facility preferred
- Dry goods and high-speed packaging experience preferred
- Ability to solve practical problems and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form
