About the role
GTM Engineering is the fastest-growing discipline in B2B sales — and almost nobody is teaching it yet. We’re hiring a GTM Engineer Intern to help build the AI-native go-to-market stack that powers Pronto’s sales motion across the US and Europe.
This isn’t a sales internship. You won’t be dialing or sending sequences. You’ll be building the systems that let our BDRs operate 10x more effectively: enrichment workflows, AI agents, automation pipelines, prompt libraries, and data infrastructure. If you’re curious about where AI, sales, and software engineering converge, this is the front row.
About Pronto Networks
We design cellular routers, Wi-Fi access points, LTE/5G gateways, and Wi-Fi HaLow devices for hospitality, retail, POS, kiosks, healthcare, and smart cities. Our customers include Toast, SpotOn, 365 Retail Markets, Lightspeed Retail, and Elavon. Headquartered in Walnut Creek with a distributed US/India team.
What you’ll do
🤖 Build AI workflows in Claude Cowork, NemoClaw, and n8n — research agents, enrichment pipelines, pre-call intelligence systems
🔧 Engineer the GTM stack — connect Apollo, Clay, HubSpot, Instantly, and HeyReach through APIs and automation layers
📊 Prototype with data — turn messy Apollo exports and intent signals into tiered, scored, ready-to-action account lists
✍️ Develop prompt libraries — codify what works into reusable, version-controlled prompts the BDR team can deploy
🧪 Run experiments — test new AI models, MCP servers, and tools as they ship; document what’s worth keeping
📚 Document and teach — write internal playbooks so what you build outlives the internship
What we’re looking for
✅ Current undergrad or recent grad in CS, engineering, data science, or a quantitative field — or a self-taught builder with a portfolio that proves it
✅ Comfortable writing Python or JavaScript; can read API docs and ship a working integration
✅ Genuine fluency with AI tools — you’ve built things with Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor that go beyond chat prompts
✅ Curious about sales and GTM, even if you’ve never worked in it — willing to learn the business side
✅ Strong written communication; you can explain a technical concept to a non-technical operator
✅ Self-directed and able to ship in ambiguity — you don’t need a ticket to start work
Bonus points for: n8n / Zapier / Make · MCP servers · LangChain or similar agent frameworks · HubSpot or Apollo API experience · prompt engineering portfolio · prior internship at a startup · interest in networking, hardware, or B2B infrastructure

What success looks like
First 4 weeks: Stack onboarded, first automation shipped, prompt library v1 contributed Mid-internship: Owning at least one production workflow used daily by the BDR team End of internship: Built systems that measurably improved BDR output; documented well enough that the team keeps using them after you leave
