Accounting Specialist / Accounting Clerk/ Accountant Full Time NEW

Job Description:

• The Fiscal Specialist Senior in the Controller’s office performs a variety of financial accounting transaction review.
• This role is responsible for processing all banking related accounting transactions for the Accounts Payable and Payroll bank accounts for all campuses for Maricopa Community Colleges.
• This role is also responsible for the annual Unclaimed Property reporting to the state of Arizona.
• Handles various banking items, such as bank supplies, daily bank exception review, deposit correction review, and monthly bank downloads.
• Responsible for maintaining, verifying, and monitoring accounts, files, documents, and records.
• Provides Treasury related support and assistance to students and staff.

Must Have:

• Financial experience.
• Data entry experience.
• Microsoft Excel experience.
