Industrial Sanitation Worker – Overnight Full Time NEW

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Sanitation Worker to join our overnight team, assisting in maintaining a clean and safe environment within our dairy bottling facility. The job duties will include industrial sanitation methods using specialized equipment (CIP) and also maintain general sanitation duties. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all areas meet health and safety standards, particularly in food production and processing settings. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and tools to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain a sanitary beverage processing environment on the production floor and storage areas, including the refrigerated warehouse
• Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
• Learn the CIP process for fillers and understand titrations for verifying correct chemical concentrations
• Conduct routine inspections of cleanliness and report any issues or maintenance needs.
• Follow established sanitation protocols for food processing areas to prevent contamination.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including break rooms and restrooms.
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving of equipment as needed during cleaning processes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in sanitation or custodial roles in a food or beverage manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and beverage production environments is highly desirable.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour
