Full Job Description
Steel service center looking for a slitter operator. Ideal candidate would have the following skills:
Experience operating a heavy gauge pull through slitter.
Ability to do knife and overarm setup.
Experience and certification to operate large (up to 40,000#) forklifts.
Experience with MIG welder and Oxy/Acetylene torch.
Mechanical ability and knowledge to diagnose small problems with electrical, hydraulic and air systems.
Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
Flexibility to work overtime and some Saturdays.
Willing to train if you have some of the skills and are willing to learn.
Pay: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour
