Experienced Asphalt Paver Operator Full Time NEW

Krebs Land Development is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paver Operator to join our team. We are looking for someone who understands asphalt paving operations, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work safely and efficiently as part of a paving crew.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating an asphalt paver on roads, parking lots, and sitework projects. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to maintain proper mat thickness and consistency, and a strong understanding of paving operations and job site safety.

Responsibilities:

• Operate an asphalt paver safely and efficiently
• Lay asphalt to required depth, grade, and specifications
• Work closely with the paving foreman, screed operators, roller operators, and ground crew
• Monitor paving speed, material flow, and mat quality during operation
• Help maintain proper alignment, joint quality, and overall paving consistency
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately
• Follow all company and job site safety requirements
• Assist with other duties on the job site when needed

Qualifications:

• Experience operating an asphalt paver required
• Strong understanding of paving operations and asphalt placement
• Ability to work well with a paving crew in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of mat consistency, depth, and quality expectations
• Dependable and punctual
• Safety-minded and team-oriented
• Valid driver’s license preferred
