Retail Cashier Full Time NEW

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Retail Sales / Cashier to join our team! The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and great customer service skills. As a Retail Sales / Cashier, you’ll be responsible for providing excellent customer experiences, handling cashier duties, and assisting with store operations, including inventory and merchandising.

This role is cross-trained between cashier and deli departments, giving associates a variety of responsibilities and opportunities to grow. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Retail Sales / Cashier Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers while providing a positive shopping experience
• Perform cashier duties, including POS operations, handling various forms of payment, and maintaining accurate cash levels
• Maintain clean, organized, stocked, and properly rotated shelves and displays
• Assist in accepting deliveries, unpacking, stocking, and rotating merchandise
• Cross-train to support deli operations when needed
• Uphold cleanliness standards, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods of time

Retail Sales / Cashier Requirements:

• At least 1 year of cash-handling experience required
• Must be 18 years or older
• Evening and weekend availability required
• Reliable transportation to Traverse City, MI
