Auction Setup & Cataloger Full Time NEW

In this full time Auction Setup / Description Specialist position, your role will be to identify and provide accurate descriptions for items in our auctions including antiques, collectibles, household items, jewerly, tools, furniture and the like. You would be working closely with other team members in our auction gallery in Conroe and occasionally homes in the north Houston area. We are looking for somone who is interested in growing with our company and interested in taking on additional responsibilities. Our company continues to grow rapidly, and we highly value our dedicated staff.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF ANTIQUES, VINTAGE AND COLLECTIBLES IS A MUST.

Responsibilities:

· Unboxing, sorting and setting items for auction while identifying items and approximate values

· Computer literacy with strong typing skills and basic excel skill required

· Ability to stand, lift, bend and carry auction items

· Ability to identify markings, damages/defects and measure auction items

· We are looking for someone with knowledge and previous experience in auctions, estate sales, antique stores or online sales of antiques/collectibles, etc.

Qualities:

· Ability to work well with other team members and clearly communicate

· Punctuality and reliability required

· Good customer service skills as you will occasionally have customer interaction

· Able to thrive in a fast paced environment with deadlines

· Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Work Locations:

Conroe, TX auction gallery and occasional work in homes in the north Houston area

*Compensation will be discussed individually and based on experience.
