Program Director Full Time NEW

Title: Program Director

Reports To: Executive Director

Location: Remote / Hybrid (as applicable)

Direct Reports: 1 

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 annually

Program Management & Operations (Primary Focus)

• Oversee day-to-day execution of BCAP and CPP programs, including intake, eligibility, service delivery, and follow-up.
• Refine and maintain program policies, procedures, and workflows, identifying operational risks and implement solutions to improve efficiency and participant experience.
• Identify gaps in access or awareness and communicate insights to leadership
• Support the development and management of program reports and budgets for leadership and funders.
• Track, analyze, and report on program outputs and outcomes

Community Outreach & Partnerships

• Build and maintain a targeted referral network of healthcare providers, imaging centers, social service agencies, and community organizations serving underserved populations
• Support outreach efforts to increase awareness and utilization of programs
• Lead outreach meetings and presentations with referral partners
• Serve as a point of contact for complex or high-priority referrals

Grants & Reporting

• Support grant applications by providing program data, narratives, and insights
• Track and report program outcomes for funders and internal use
• Maintain accurate and organized program documentation

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Supervise the BCAP Coordinator and support their development
• Partner with the Director of Operations on administrative and operational needs
• Collaborate with Development on fundraising support (data, impact stories, reporting)
• Collaborate with marketing partners to develop and maintain referral tools (e.g., program one-pagers, eligibility summaries, intake materials)

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, nonprofit management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program coordination or management within nonprofit, healthcare, or human services
• Experience supporting program operations, reporting, or service delivery
• Experience in medical advocacy, patient navigation, or public health
• Familiarity with grant-funded programs and reporting requirements
• Strong administrative technology capabilities – comfortable navigating software and cloud-based platforms for day-to-day operations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills
• Self-starter who thrives in small, fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort working in a remote team environment
• Work EST hours 9a-5pm.

Preferred

• Spanish proficiency
• Familiarity with referral-based or patient/client service model
• Experience with community outreach
• Experience working with underserved or vulnerable populations
