Are you an experienced CDL-A driver looking for weekly home time and a very steady paycheck? If so, Armstrong Transportation in Memphis offers the perfect opportunity.

All of our regional van runs are centered around Memphis, TN and flow mostly between these states: Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas (mainly Dallas), Louisiana, Mississippi, Northern Alabama, Indiana, Ohio and Northern Kentucky. We do not service the East Coast, the West Coast or Florida. We have the same repeat customer runs on a weekly basis, so there are very few surprises. About 85% of our runs are drop and hook.

Drivers with 8+ years of experience earn between 50 to 55+ cents per mile based on weekly mileage productivity and several bonus programs. Our drivers build their paycheck and income by getting consistently strong and steady miles every week. While most of our drivers choose to be home every week, drivers are welcome to stay out longer. Those that do stay out multiple weeks typically earn about 2 extra cents per mile.

Plus, if a driver needs to be home during the week for a family event, doctor’s appointment or any other reason, we make sure the driver is home when needed all while still maximizing the driver’s miles and income for the week.

Pay Per Mile Increases as Weekly Miles Increase

For 8+ years of experience, our base pay is 50 cents per mile PLUS an easy to achieve productivity bonus, which allows you to increase your pay per mile to up to 55 cents!

Productivity Bonus – Applied Weekly (based on a driver with 8+ years experience)

• Exceed 2,000 miles in a week, earn 51 cents on all miles that week
• Exceed 2,250 miles in a week, earn 52 cents on all miles that week
• Exceed 2,500 miles in a week, earn 53 cents on all miles that week
• Exceed 2,750 miles in a week, earn 54 cents on all miles that week
• Exceed 3,000 miles in a week, earn 55 cents on all miles that week

The extra 1 to 5 cent bonus is added each week based on that week’s productivity, so a driver’s pay might be 55 cents one week, 52 cents the next week and 54 cents the next week – all based around the driver’s mileage productivity during each individual week.
