Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and optimize smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps)

• Contribute to the architecture of secure, scalable, and high-performance Web3 systems

• Work with blockchain platforms and protocols to implement decentralized solutions

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and research teams to integrate blockchain technologies into broader systems

• Provide technical insights and recommendations to improve system efficiency and reliability

• Document development processes, system designs, and technical decisions

• Clearly explain complex blockchain concepts both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Stay up to date with emerging trends in blockchain, Web3, DeFi, and distributed systems

• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and protocols for potential adoption

Qualitications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in blockchain and Web3 engineering

• Strong experience with smart contract development (e.g., Solidity, Rust, or similar languages)

• Proficiency with dApp frameworks, blockchain tooling, and development environments

• Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including decentralization principles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment

Preferred

• Experience with cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and DeFi protocols

• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects

• Familiarity with Layer 2 solutions, cross-chain technologies, or Web3 security best practices

• Prior experience mentoring or guiding other engineers
