Chemical Plant Operator / Warehouse Position Available (Missoula, MT – Travel required)

Missoula, MT based national chemical manufacturer is currently seeking the right candidate to join our team as a Chemical Plant Operator / Warehouse Associate.

Opportunities exist to grow within the company for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and monitoring chemical production processes.
• Following Standard Operating Procedures to complete chemical production batches.
• Quality assurance (QA) and Testing of finished product.
• Completing production logs
• Loading and unloading of van trailers.
• Loading and unloading of bulk liquid tankers.
• Liquid Product transfer
• Maintaining facility cleanliness and safety compliance
• Light plumbing and electrical repair and maintenance
• Meeting daily production quotas
• Managing outgoing shipments

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experienced forklift operator
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience with chemicals and chemical manufacturing is a major plus
• Experience with OSHA regulation and compliance
• Warehouse work experience including preparing and receiving bulk shipments, and managing inventory.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in the following fields preferred, welding, plumbing, general construction, or light electrical
• Problem solving ability, desire to learn, and ability to learn quickly
• Ability to work independently
• Safety conscious, attention to detail, with a positive attitude and a willingness to do whatever needed to get the job done.

Compensation:

Compensation dependent on experience – Above average starting hourly wage, paid health insurance for employees, and PTO included.
