Sr. Network Systems Analyst Full Time

Job Title: Sr. Network Systems Analyst
Location: Nevada City, CA – 95959 (Fully Onsite)
Duration: Fulltime

Note: Future hybrid schedule: 1 2 remote days per week, after 3-6 months of satisfactory service

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Network Systems Analyst to serve as a technical expert supporting complex, enterprise-level network and server environments. This role involves administering large-scale LAN/WAN systems, ensuring system security and performance, and providing advanced technical support.
The ideal candidate will operate independently or as a team lead, handle high-impact projects, and act as an escalation point for technical issues while mentoring junior staff.

Required Skills & Expertise: Technical Skills:
Strong experience with Windows Server, Linux, and enterprise network environments
Deep knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture and OSI model (Layer 2 & 3 switching)
Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, FTP, etc.)
Experience with network security (firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, IPS)
Hands-on experience with server, storage (SAN), and VoIP systems
Expertise in network troubleshooting and diagnostics tools
On call rotation required.

Education & Experience
Associate degree or equivalent coursework in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 2+ years of advanced/journey-level experience in network systems administration
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Certifications (Preferred)
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
Cisco Certified Network Engineer (CCNE)
Security or Project Management certifications
