Full Job Description
We are seeking a person with 10 years of transportation experience, to work in our dispatch office in Wilton WI. This person should be fluent in over the road transportation. This is not dedicated freight. Planning assets and operators for outbound loads. Planning backhauls for those operators and watching load boards for the procurement of backhauls and head hauls required to put assets in the correct locations at the right times. Tracking detention and working directly with customers and brokers is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Work within the process and seek to understand the current process
- Be Flexible and Adaptable
- Focus and Communicate clearly in an open floor plan, fast paced environment
- Planning and Dispatching outbound loads
- Planning and Dispatching Backhauls
- Backhaul procurement
- Understand brokerage and help execute if needed
- DOT and HOS knowledge is a must. ELD Knowledge
- Assist with breakdowns
- Issuing and tracking payments
- Track Detention and work with brokers and customers
Skills:
- Proficient in transportation management systems and software
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
- Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure and professionalism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
