Exciting opportunity to join Qualcomm Core Peripherals Storage Team. The Storage development team is responsible for delivering storage drivers, filesystem and tools for Qualcomm SoCs. The team supports leading edge flash memory technologies like UFS, NVMe, SDExpress, eMMC, NAND, NOR.
The candidate will be primarily working on storage drivers and filesystem modules in the Linux Kernel for latest Qualcomm SoCs for our Mobile products. The role involves primarily working on the storage drivers in the Kernel and also filesystem modules, block-drivers, memory modules in the Linux Kernel to optimize them for the best runtime performance and power and help commercialization of product resolving various kernel issues reported by our customers and our flash vendor partners. This involves close working with other teams, open-source software and collaborating with Linux community and Google. Engineers are also expected to work with the upstream Linux kernel community to present and implement new features in the upstream kernel in the storage and memory areas. In addition to the mobile/smartphone market, our team is growing into other segments like automotive, home entertainment, and embedded computing.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- 1+ year of experience with Database Management Software.
- 1+ year of experience with API.
- 1+ year of work experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management System.

Pay Range And Other Compensation & Benefits
$94,200.00 – $141,200.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
