Job Summary
West Branch NAPA Auto Truck & Trailer is seeking a motivated, sales-focused Heavy Duty Truck Parts Sales Associate to help grow our commercial parts business and support customers who rely on us to keep trucks, trailers, fleets, equipment, and businesses moving.

This position is built around heavy-duty truck and trailer parts sales, with a strong focus on commercial accounts, repair shops, fleets, farms, municipalities, contractors, and trucking customers. The ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, dependable, and passionate about selling heavy-duty components while building long-term customer relationships.

This role requires someone who can identify customer needs, source the right parts, follow up on quotes, recommend solutions, and help drive continued sales growth within the store.

Responsibilities

· Provide excellent customer service to commercial, fleet, retail, and walk-in customers.

· Sell heavy-duty truck, trailer, and automotive parts at the counter, over the phone, and through commercial account support.

· Assist customers with identifying and sourcing heavy-duty truck components including air brake systems, valves, brake chambers, slack adjusters, brake drums, brake shoes, wheel seals, bearings, suspension components, lighting, electrical, hydraulics, filters, and related parts.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial accounts, fleets, repair shops, municipalities, farms, trucking companies, and contractors.

· Drive sales growth by identifying customer needs, recommending related products, following up on quotes, and helping customers find complete solutions.

· Use parts catalogs, computer systems, vendor resources, and product knowledge to accurately identify and source parts.

· Support inventory control by helping monitor stock levels, high-demand commercial items, and parts availability.

· Assist with receiving, stocking, picking, organizing, and pulling parts as needed.

· Maintain a clean, professional, and organized sales counter and work area.

· Follow company procedures for invoicing, special orders, returns, credits, safety, and customer account handling.

· Contribute to store success through strong sales performance, teamwork, accuracy, follow-through, and a positive attitude.

Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Valid driver’s license required.

· Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team setting.

· Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

· Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb throughout the workday.

· Must be able to regularly lift and/or move heavy parts when needed.

· Heavy-duty truck parts knowledge preferred.

· Automotive, truck, trailer, fleet, or commercial parts sales experience preferred.

Experience

· Heavy-duty truck parts sales: 1 year preferred.

· Automotive or commercial parts sales: 1 year preferred.

· Commercial account sales: 1 year preferred.

· Air brake, brake drum, valve, suspension, wheel-end, or trailer parts knowledge preferred.

· Inventory or parts counter experience preferred.
