Regional Sales Manager Full Time NEW

MUST:

• 0-5 years in Mechanincal, Civil, OR Structural Engineering, in sales OR as an engineer
• Familiar with the full lifescycle of sales – working with existing clientle
• Bachelors degree in any form of Engineering
• Ability to travel several times per month
• Ability to goto project sites
• Ability to assume ownership of the sales process of both products and services to our customers.

PLUS:

• Has sold retaining walls
• Must be able to read construction plans/civil plan sets
• Familiar with construction documents
• Successful sales experience preferably in a construction or engineered products environment.
• General construction or civil background

DAY TO DAY:

You will be part of an innovative, privately-owned company specializing in the engineering & manufacturing of precast concrete retaining walls for the public transportation sector. Our company is well-positioned for sustained growth, and we are seeking a highly-motivated and passionate individual to lead the sales operations in a territory. The chosen candidate must understand the importance of strong internal & external communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet sales objectives by maintaining existing customer relationships and fostering new ones.
• Identifying and developing new opportunities.
• Managing a sales pipeline and regularly following up with customers to close deals.
• Face to face customer interactions including sales calls, industry events, and trade shows.
• Work with Engineering, Estimating, and Project Management Departments to create and distribute proposals.
• Successful history of sales experience—prefer in the construction or engineered products industries.
• Proven ability to maintain and grow customer relationships.
• Strong traditional sales skills—verbal & written communication, organization, computer-literate, etc.
• Ability to travel to meet customers and visit job sites.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work on several projects simultaneously while meeting customer expectations and deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative team environment.
