A manufacturing company is offering an immediate position for a Chip Spinner/Piece Runner who will have a variety of daily responsibilities including operating equipment, providing chip removal from production machines, following specific detailed instructions, and working in a safety-oriented manner. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
Collect chips from production machine and place in wheel barrel
Dump full wheel barrel of chips (steel, stainless, brass or aluminum) into centrifuge container and spin chips to remove oil
Use floor scrubber on shop floor and empty trash in plant and outside
Complete the chip spinner task sheet on a daily basis
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or GED
Must have the ability to use a floor scrubber
Must be cooperative and a team player who is self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Must have excellent work habits including punctuality, attendance, and work ethic
Must have steel toed boots and with the ability to work in a safety-oriented manner
Must be able to repetitively bend, lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
