Job Description

Kian Corporation is seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy construction equipment, trucks, and support machinery used in civil construction and earthworks operations throughout Guam.

This position requires someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently in both shop and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment and diesel machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, and mechanical systems
• Repair and maintain excavators, loaders, rollers, graders, backhoes, dump trucks, water trucks, and other equipment
• Perform field service repairs and emergency breakdown response
• Maintain service records and equipment maintenance logs
• Inspect equipment for safety and operational readiness
• Coordinate with operators and management regarding equipment issues
• Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently

Preferred Experience

• Experience working on Caterpillar, Hyundai, Bomag, Freightliner, Ford, or similar equipment
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and undercarriage repairs
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot independently
• Experience with construction and earthmoving equipment preferred

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• CDL is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy parts and work outdoors
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Must follow company safety policies and procedures
• Must be able to pass drug testing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 – $28.00 per hour
