Weekend Nanny /House Manager– Westport, CT – Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 25–30 Hours
A warm and easygoing family in Westport is seeking a weekend nanny/house manager to support their two children, ages 3.5 and 6 and who can assist them to keep their lives and home running smoothly, and their children safe and happy
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on with children, creating a fun, structured, and supportive weekend environment, and who is also naturally organized and great at time management and toggling between childcare duties and household management responsibilities.
Schedule
- Friday afternoon/evening, Saturday & Sunday – flexible for the right candidate, parents will work to make the schedule work where possible. Friday hours may be optional
- Approximately 25–30 hours total – this should not be seen as an extra few hours of help on the weekends. The individual in this role will be an integral part of the childcare and house management team
- Some flexibility depending on family needs
Responsibilities
- Providing attentive, engaging, and nurturing care for both children
- Planning and participating in age-appropriate activities
- Supporting weekend routines
- Assisting with outings, playdates, and activities
- Helping maintain a calm, positive environment
Additional Notes
- Parents are kind, involved, and easy to work with
- Occasional travel to Florida throughout the year, must be able to travel domestically
Special Consideration
- One child has a medical condition; candidate must be open to learning to administer daily medication (no medical background required)
Requirements
- 3+ years of childcare experience
- Warm, energetic, and reliable
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Excellent references
- Must be a US citizen or able to travel legally domestically in the US
Compensation
- $30-$40
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Start Date
- ASAP
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
